Project Overview

Production ERP/MES backend for a food packaging manufacturing company in Japan. Sole backend engineer across the full project lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The system manages production scheduling, multi-stage inventory, transactional workflows, real-time factory floor updates, and document generation.

Backend & Engineering Highlights

• —Sole backend engineer responsible for architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance.
• —Designed and implemented 50+ relational models handling manufacturing, inventory, and operational data in PostgreSQL with Prisma.
• —Built core ERP modules: production scheduling, multi-stage inventory management, and transactional business workflows with ACID consistency.
• —Implemented WebSocket-based real-time broadcasting for live factory floor status and operational event updates.
• —Created a server-side PDF generation pipeline for order sheets, packing slips, delivery notes, and management reports.
• —Integrated AWS S3 for secure document storage, media attachments, and file management.
• —Implemented JWT authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and LINE API notification workflows.
• —Delivered the system to production and maintained it through iterative feature additions and client feedback cycles.
